An international resources company with diverse interests across resources & agriculture currently seeks a Water Treatment/Water Engineering/Hydrology Graduate to join their Indonesian team. This unique role will have you work in their major palm oil division, which is one of the biggest producers of sustainable palm oil in Indonesia and a growing supplier of bio-diesel.

Reporting to the Director of Estates, you will undertake a structured 12 month graduate training program which see you learn about a very fast growing sector under highly regarded management. Your graduate rotation will involve developing pioneering water recycling initiatives for this pioneering leader of sustainability in the palm oil industry.

This is a permanent expat role with a highly regarded international resources group in a rapid expanding industry offering a unique opportunity to fast track your career and be recognised as an industry expert within the sector as it embarks on major structural change.

Operating on a residential expat in-country basis (single or married status; no de facto status due to visas), you will be based in East Kalimantan with good amenities. Ideally, you will be a recent graduate (or soon to graduate by end of 2021) of water engineering or similar from an Australian or NZ university, with a passion to learn and fast-track your career in water treatment & recycling while learning about the major palm oil sector and residing in Indonesia. A passion for travel and adventure are essential, as you will be riding motorbikes, living in local villages and immersing yourself in one of Indonesia’s biggest and fastest-growing industries. Fluency in Bahasa or an enthusiasm to learn a new language will be greatly advantageous.
