A successful, rapidly expanding WA gold producer currently seeks an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor for an initial 6 month contract.
As a key senior member of the underground survey team, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the survey team, including supporting data migration for a new coordinated file structure. Key accountabilities will include development heading and stope set out & pick up, stockpile surveys, maintaining survey control networks, data collection for rock mass conditions and assisting in special projects.
This exciting opportunity is offered on FIFO basis from Perth on either an 8/6 or 4/3 roster. An attractive, negotiable day rate is provided.
Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified surveyor with a strong background in underground hardrock survey appointments (e.g. 5+ years post graduate experience), with familiarity of Leica, Surpac and Minesight.
